1. Controller and scope

NEWJINSOFT (“MISCLAND,” “we,” or the “Operator”) controls personal-data processing for the MISCLAND website, Google login, member functions, analytics, and advertising.

2. Data and purposes

We rely on contract performance, consent, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in secure operation where permitted by applicable law.

3. Local processing and retention

• Tool files and inputs: not stored on our servers unless clearly disclosed.
• Member data: kept while the account exists, then deleted except where limited legal or security retention is needed.
• Member-management and point logs: normally retained for 30 days under the current setting.
• Ordinary web access logs: normally retained for 14 days for security and troubleshooting.
• MISCLAND aggregate traffic: only daily page-view and session totals are retained for long-term trend analysis; no per-person visit history is created.
• Support records: may be kept for up to three years where needed.

Destruction procedure and method: When a retention period expires or the processing purpose has been fulfilled, we separate only the information that must be retained by law for the required period and destroy the rest without undue delay. Electronic records are deleted from the operating systems and access permissions are removed; any paper records that may be created are shredded or incinerated. When an account is deleted, member data, favorites, and other service-delivery data are deleted, while security or audit records that require separate retention are destroyed after their stated retention period expires.

4. Google login

When you choose Google login, we receive only the account data needed through Google OAuth. We do not see or store your Google password. Google's own processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and direct banners

MISCLAND currently uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure visits, approximate country/city-level location, visited pages and tools, and basic usage events in aggregate. We do not use Google Signals or advertising-personalization signals. During GA4 collection, Google uses IP addresses to derive approximate location and then discards them before they are logged or stored in a data center.

Google Analytics analytics_storage uses region-specific Consent Mode defaults. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and other regions where prior consent is required, it defaults to denied; in other regions it is granted for visit analytics. Advertising storage and personalization signals remain denied until separate consent is obtained. When analytics_storage is denied, cookieless measurement signals may be sent, and access to the free tools is unaffected.

Analytics page locations exclude query strings and URL fragments, and files or text you select or enter in a tool are not sent as Google Analytics events.

MISCLAND also keeps its own aggregate traffic counters separately from GA4 reports. A page load increments the page-view total, and the session total increases only once per day in the same browser tab. The tab stores only a daily counted flag in sessionStorage and no random user ID is created. The server analytics database stores only daily page-view and session totals; it does not store IP addresses, User-Agent strings, cookies, persistent identifiers, individual page paths, or referrers.

When AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors and ad networks, including Google, may use advertising cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads, including based on prior visits. Ad personalization is limited by your choices and applicable law.

Direct banner ads normally use only a simple image served by MISCLAND and an external link and do not set a tracking cookie. On click, the advertiser may receive ordinary connection data such as IP address and referrer; its own privacy policy then applies.

6. Recipients and international processing

We do not sell personal data. Google LLC may process minimum data for OAuth, Google Analytics measurement, and AdSense if enabled, while hosting and infrastructure providers may process data needed for operation and security.

Tool files, static libraries, fonts, and WebAssembly modules are served from MISCLAND's same-origin asset paths, and the browser does not directly call third-party library CDNs such as Google Fonts, cdnjs, unpkg, or esm.sh. However, when you use the Public IP tool, the browser sends a public-IP lookup request to api.ipify.org to provide that function, and that service may process ordinary connection data such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time.

We may disclose information through lawful process where necessary to comply with law, protect safety, or establish and defend legal claims.

7. Choices and rights

To the extent provided by applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or objection by emailing contact@miscland.com. We may limit a request where necessary to verify identity, meet legal-retention duties, or protect another person's rights.

Google Analytics storage follows region-specific Consent Mode defaults. In consent-priority regions analytics_storage defaults to denied; elsewhere it is granted for visit, page, and acquisition analytics. Advertising storage and personalization remain denied until separate consent is obtained. All free tools remain equally available regardless of analytics settings.

When AdSense is enabled for regions requiring consent, including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a Google-certified CMP will present choices before consent-required advertising cookies are stored or personal data is processed for personalized advertising, and will allow later changes. Where laws such as California privacy law apply, we provide applicable rights such as opting out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising.

8. Security, children, changes, and contact

We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, log review, and data minimization. The Service is not directed to children under 14; data learned to have been collected without required parental consent will be deleted.

We may update this Policy when the Service, analytics, or advertising changes and will announce material changes before they take effect.
