JPEG files are re-encoded, so size and quality may vary slightly depending on the quality setting. For important photos, use a quality setting of 90% or higher.

PNG and WebP transparency is preserved. JPEG does not support transparent backgrounds.

Q. Are GIF and HEIC supported?

For broad browser compatibility, the tool currently supports JPG, PNG, and WebP. Animated GIF and HEIC files are better handled with a dedicated conversion tool.

Yes. When you select multiple images, the EXIF-cleaned results are bundled into a ZIP file for download.

Yes. The photo is rendered and saved as a new image in your browser so GPS location, camera details, capture time, and similar EXIF metadata from the original are not carried into the result. Information visible in the pixels themselves—such as addresses, faces, or license plates—is not removed automatically.

In situations where the shooting location is exposed, such as public posting on SNS, second-hand transaction photos, or external sharing of work materials, it is recommended to remove GPS location information and EXIF metadata first.
